| Details: | Some know Billy Bragg as the most socially aware folk rocker who show up in the aftermath of the English punk. Others may have the strongest relationship with the plates he has recorded with Wilco, where they have used the unfinished songs by Woody Guthrie. Billy Bragg has about 30 years delivered strong songs in a row. His recordings are often minimalist, with emphasis on vocals and guitar. For 29 years ago, he released his debut album Life's A Riot With Spy VS Spy, which contains a handful of his most famous songs. You may have heard of A New England and To Have And To Have Not. Later albums like Talking With The Taxman About Poetry (1986) and Do not Try This At Home (1991) hit the top ten on the charts in their homeland. His political involvement on the left in British politics, has made that he might as well play lada political events, as regular festivals and clubs. This does not mean that we have described only by Bragg to stamp him as a political singer / songwriter. There is also more personal variations and love songs in his catalog. Even he says that he is first and foremost an honest songwriter. He continues the legacy of Guthrie, Seeger and Dylan, but with a little twinge of punk attitude and dirty rock. In the Medieval Park you will experience this vital artist alive. More information & Box Office - Click Here |
