We Have Youth Day Approaching Here in Oz..the pope will be in attendence..Would you believe that the police have the right to fine people for annoying behaviour including annoying T-shirts..Fuck Me..they got to be kidding are we heading towards a tieneman square here in oz.... shit looks like were taking little steps in that direction what ever happened to freedom of speech. mad.gif





Im so tempted to make my own t-shirt and fly to sydney..just so its known this is no go..and id hand out hundreds of condoms to the youth of today. cool.gif

There was the recent case of someone wearing a Cradle of Filth t-shirt bearing the slogan, "Jesus Is A Cunt" being charged in the Gold Coast for offensive behaviour under the Summary Offences Act 2005 for public nuisance. SuperCop then went hunting for the shop that sold the t-shirt.

While I don't think it's quite Tiananmen Square just yet, it does more to highlight the PC nature that seems overly prevolent in Australia, a country which values it's freedom of speech.

I think that's the case Luca was referring to. It's all over the news here still.

Part of that link suggests the creation of a Bill Of Rights to protect freedom of speech which is something most Aussies are proud of and seems an important piece of 'her' history.

You'd probably have got the same reaction if you'd wear a t-shirt saying denying Jesus.
