I am a big fan of bogof, it's my excuse to buy biscuits and other treats.

i am addicted to bogof. Before i was in denial about my bank statements i am pretty sure that a visit to the most bogof of stores, boots the chemist, always put me in an overdraft situation and subsequent bank charges negated all my savings. But that doesn't matter because i had bought lots and got lots freeeeeeee!

I have 5 bottles of shampoo and 15 bottles of conditioner on my shelf, it cost a small fortune but I don't have to buy any more for 15 weeks now, by which time it may well be on BOGOF again

Pampers babywipes were on BOGOF too, so much nicer than toilet paper

A little old lady goes into the store to do some shopping. She is bewildered
over the large selection of toilet paper.

"Pardon me, sir," she says to the store manager, "but can you explain the differences in all these toilet papers?"

"Well," he replies pointing out one brand, "this is as soft as a baby's kiss. It's $1.50 per roll." He grabs another and says, "This is nice and soft as a bunny, strong but gentle, and it's $1.00 a roll."

Pointing to the bottom shelf he tells her, "We call that our No Name brand, and it's 20 cents per roll."

"Give me the No Name," she says.

She comes back about a week later, seeks out the manager and says, "Hey! I've got a name for your No Name toilet paper. I call it John Wayne."

"John Wayne , why?" he asks.

"Because it's rough, it's tough and it don't take crap off anybody!"

If you had shit on your arm, would you wipe it off with a piece of dry tissue and think it was clean? No. I rest my case

...... the clash, particularily when compared to the pistols. i saw both documentaries on them recently, and the pistols, in my opinion, were absolute tits. i know that was probably part of the appeal at the time. but musicians should at least play their own instruments. sid vicious was cack. and the clash members, particularily joe strummer, were much more intelligent and intuitive in their interviews. they put forward ideas and had something of substance to say. johnney rotten (tit) just comes out with "i 'ate that bastard" and other such enlightening sound bites. not exactly mana from heaven; not like the clash!
