Over a hundred and 40 views to 4 replies aint bad, I just hope that most of them signed. If not ,well at least they viewed

biggrin.gif the little felow is a gem, the mascot of his class. His mother has been goingt to the Travelling Mothers night which is a group for fundamentaly Irish itinerant mothers. Well this lady came along, and the question was asked by a local "what are you doing here like", the woman replied,"I have travelled from Abuja, and I am a mother". The whole place cracked up like. But, it's an example of what racism is about! even further than just being on the brunt of it. How easy it can be to be racist. It doesn't matter what colour she is ,she's one of us !

I'm a settled traveller and have lived in 4 countries in my time,my children go to settled peoples schools now,so they don't know much about the road, but I remember being a little child and asked to go up to a door and ask for a potfull of water, and I would always get it.Well I only realised later in life that it was because "decent people" would rarely refuse a child! If it was my mother or father asking they woukd probably come away empty handed, except for an earful of abuse!

I know what it's like to be turned away, PLEASE SIGN (if you havn't already smile.gif )

And your point in this particular case, Tinman? I'm sure we can guess.

What's your post got to do with helping an autistic boy in danger of being deported?

Not much. Confusion must have been caused by that can you had on the train this evening, you rebel, you.
