make votes count

I did that a few weeks ago and yesterday our Labour candidate replied saying vague things about agreeing that some sort of reform was needed. I presume he had lots of time on his hands because he was letting the Lib Dems get his votes (the local freesheet ran short biogs/manifestos of the candidates in North Dorset, West Dorset and Somerton & Frome, I don't think Labour took part, they seemed to be letting the Liberals have it).

But would any voting system for one individual country ever stop multi-continental businesses from making redundant thousands of workforce staff, who work tirelessly for their little pay, with just the smallest of redundancy rights?

We need something far more fundamentally radical.
