there i was watching a rather poorly cobbled together half-sociological look at england fans abroad as i was trying to go to sleep last night. all of a sudden billy pops up giving it large on the national identity front.

Yeah rather poor programme that with nothing interesting to say only enlivened by BB, Dougie B the celebrity former hooligan on it irratates me not sure why, a friend who used to be involved says he wasn't up to much anyway.

He was on BBC2 again last night, a program about the Union Jack, or something. My mum actually phoned me to see if I was watching it, which of course I wasn't, I was in a pub with Dutch people waiting for the game to start.

which reminds me, he was also on that sunday morning political thing that comes on bbc1 after news24. didn't see it mind, just the trailer.

he was excellent in the union jack thingy which was an interesting little programme.

i'll watch out for it repeating and try to organise a tape.
