| | Pogues suit boosts Jail Guitar Doors | 28/09/08 | Some Pogues memorabilia has helped raise money for Billy's Jail Guitar Doors initiative. A suit worn by accordion player James Fearnley on a recent tour was auctioned for cash.
Meanwhile, Epiphone has become a sponsor of the good cause, which supplies musical instruments to UK prisons as part of prisoner rehabilitation.

| | Starry night at the Mad Ripple Hootenanny | 03/09/08 | Billy hooked up again with Tom Morello and Boots Riley - his old compadres from the Tell Us The Truth Tour - at the Mad Ripple Hootenanny in Minneapolis, USA.
Billy, who took the stage at the Parkway Theater with host Jim Walsh, and local folk singers Eliza Blue and Jen Markey, played cover versions such as I Think It's Going To Rain Today, Street Fighting Man, and One Love.
They were joined by Tom Morello and Ike Reilly, and later Boots Riley, in the round-robin performance on 2 September.
The show climaxed with Billy's very own Waiting For The Great Leap Forwards.
